Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Daily Summarizer ("the Service"), operated by Stéphane Molano, trading as Creasteph, based in France ("we", "us"). By creating an account, connecting a provider, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Daily Summarizer is a personal productivity tool that aggregates the user's own activity from connected accounts (Google, GitHub, Slack) and local sources to produce daily reports. The Service is provided for individual use only.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- connect accounts you are not authorised to access;
- attempt to access another user's data, or use the Service to scrape, harvest, or aggregate data belonging to others;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the security of the Service;
- use the Service to violate any law, third-party right, or the terms of any connected provider (including the Google APIs Terms of Service, Slack API Terms, or GitHub Terms).
5. Third-party providers
The Service relies on third-party APIs (Google, Slack, GitHub) and on a third-party large-language-model provider (Anthropic). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or behaviour of any third-party service.
6. Your data
You retain all rights to the content and data accessed by the Service on your behalf. You grant us a limited, revocable licence to process that data solely to provide the Service to you, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
7. AI-generated content
The Service uses a large-language model to generate daily summaries. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or fail to capture nuance. You are responsible for reviewing generated reports before relying on them, especially in any professional context.
8. Availability and modifications
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also impose reasonable usage limits to ensure stability for all users.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account as described in the Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a security or legal risk.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Creasteph shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total cumulative liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed fifty euros (€50).
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
